FAQ
Everything you need to know about our garment standards, construction, and production process.
How do I sign up?
BTSA offers two account types — Wholesale (tax-exempt, requires seller's permit) and Standard (instant access, no permit needed). Visit our How to Order page to get started.
What is PFD?
PFD stands for Prepared For Dye — undyed, unfinished 100% cotton, and the starting point where every BTSA blank begins. Learn more here.
Will the color match your standard?
Most suppliers lock you into pre-set colors. BTSA's garment dye program matches directly to your brand color reference — so the color you select and approve is the color you receive. No approximations. Any color you want.
Does the fabric feel right in hand?
The hand feel of a garment is the first thing your customer judges. BTSA blanks are built with that moment in mind — the weight, texture, and surface consistency that makes every application sit the way it should.
Will the blanks shrink after one wash?
Our garments are pre-shrunk and engineered for dimensional consistency. What your client approves is what comes off the production line — no surprises after the first wash.
Will these standards hold at scale?
Every garment is hand-inspected for consistent quality and construction. With BTSA's vertical manufacturing and local LA sourcing, what you confirm in your order translates cleanly into production at scale.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is tier-based — the more units you build on a style, the lower your per-unit cost. Units across all colors and sizes of the same style count toward the same tier, so mixing colors or sizes can move you into a better rate.
Use the Order Calculator to see live pricing across every tier and build your full order before committing to anything.
